Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

For your reference, here are some common questions and answers regarding checking your beep card balance.

1. What happens if the beep card expires while there is a balance in the card?

Concerning the balance on an expired card, any remaining funds can be transferred to a new card within twelve (12) months after the card’s expiry date. For example, if your card expires on July 31, 2019, you have until July 31, 2020, to complete the transfer. However, there is a transfer of balance fee of One Hundred Fifty Pesos (P150.00) charged to the cardholder. Beyond this 12-month grace period, any remaining balance on the expired card will be forfeited.

2. I tapped my card on the eLoad Stations and it says “No Pending Load Available.” What should I do?

If your beep card displays “No Pending Loads Available” after tapping it on the beep e-Load Station and more than 30 minutes have elapsed since the request, first, check if your source account or e-wallet has been debited. If it has, promptly contact the OTA partner’s Customer Service to report the issue for resolution.

3. What happens if the beep load requested and the remaining balance in the card exceeds P10,000.00?

In the scenario where the total of your processed beep load request and the remaining balance on your beep card exceeds the P10,000 maximum load limit, tapping your card on the beep e-Load Station will show your current balance and all pending beep load requests. Should you surpass the Php10,000 limit, you can retrieve the excess amount on your next visit, provided you have utilized all or part of your balance. It is also one of the reasons why it is best to be aware of your balance before processing a reload request.
