The Land Transportation Office (LTO) requires aspiring conductors to complete the 8-hour Conductor’s Theoretical Course (CTC) and pass its culminating exam in order to secure a Certificate of Completion (COC) prior to application for a conductor’s license.
It is a lot like the Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) as it culminates with a written exam, hosted by the Land Transportation Office (LTO), and is carried out at the LTO Driver Education Centers (DECs) in selected LTO Offices in the Philippines. It covers topics designed to educate and enlighten conductors, who serve as partners or assistants to public vehicle drivers. It also makes it clear for conductors what their specific tasks, duties, responsibilities, and obligations are before they obtain a formal conductor’s license from the LTO.
Taking the Conductor’s Theoretical Course (CTC) Exam
To help you refresh your knowledge and test your level of proficiency in taking the CTC written exam, you can check how well you did in the CTC exam reviewer using this answer key.
Do note that the CTC exam is also available in English and Filipino and also features 20 multiple choice questions to be answered within 30 minutes. It also requires at least 80% correct answers to pass.
