The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Digos City refers to the set of two LTO offices based in Digos City, Davao del Sur: the LTO Digos District Office (DO) and the LTO DLRO Digos. Like the other LTO branches in the Philippines, the LTO Digos City offices were created so the agency can offer fast, convenient, accessible, and affordable LTO services to the people. With these two LTO offices, the agency strives to better monitor and regulate the local and visiting drivers, car owners, and operators, as well as the vehicle use and the entire land transport service in Digos City and its geographical area of responsibility (GAOR). The agency, through these branch offices, also keeps its presence alive in the local land transport sector, and ensures that its core programs and services reach the people—both drivers and pedestrians—whom they want to keep safe.
Dubbed as the Mango Capital City of the Philippines and The Gate City of the South, Digos City is an important spot in these places. It sells and exports sweet-juicy ‘carabao variety mango.’ It also serves as the largest urban center in Davao del Sur and in the entirety of Metropolitan Davao. It is also considered the best spot for housing projects, hotels, resorts, amusement parks, food establishments and processing, clothing and fashion accessories, financial services and electronics related businesses.
