The Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Cabuyao City in the province of Laguna is made up of a set of two LTO offices: the LTO Cabuyao Licensing Center (LC) and the LTO Cabuyao District Office (DO). These LTO offices were opened to extend the scope of the agency’s operations and serve the city and all the people within its geographical area of responsibility (GAOR) better. These LTO offices also help the agency become more accessible and convenient for the people who require their services. The LTO Cabuyao Offices also operates in the hopes of making the LTO more effective in their regulation and management of the drivers and vehicles so the public can be rest assured of their safety on the road.
As the city known as “The Enterprise City of the Philippines,” Cabuyao houses numerous business establishments that offer opportunities to the people of the region. It used to be one of the richest local government units (LGU) in the country, too, housing a large number of immigrants who are working within its territory. That said, it became imperative for the LTO to operate more effectively and keep the roads safe through more effective driver education, licensing, registration, and regulation, without the need for the people to spend so much time, effort, and money to avail of and keep up with the LTO rules and regulatory policies.
What is LTO Cabuyao?
LTO Cabuyao refers to the LTO offices stationed in Biñan City, Laguna: the LTO Cabuyao Licensing Center (LC) and the LTO Cabuyao District Office (DO). Just like the other LTO offices, the LTO Cabuyao offices operates to help manifest the agency’s desire and efforts to bridge the gap between their programs and the people—including the motorists, drivers, car owners, and operators in Cabuyao City and its neighboring areas. The LTO offices in the city were physical manifestations of the agency’s desire to keep up with its mandate and serve the people by having their core programs and services—including the registration of motor vehicles (MV) and license and permits applications and renewals—offered more conveniently, especially to the people whose work is primarily behind the wheels. It is also made more affordable, especially for those who can’t afford to take the time off to travel to another place for their LTO-related needs.
LTO Cabuyao Licensing Center (LC)
With convenience and ease of transaction in mind, the LTO set up the LTO Cabuyao Licensing Center (LC), a one-stop off-site printing shop for LTO licensing needs. Located in Areza Town Center, the Cabuyao Licensing Center is located in close proximity to the mall and other traffic-generating establishments in the city. This LTO office has good visibility, and along with faster and better licensing services, it is a great way for LTO to reach the people they intend to cater to.
LTO Cabuyao District Office (DO)
Despite its name, the LTO Cabuyao District Office (DO) is located in Areza Town Center as well, in Brgy. Canlalay in Biñan City, a first-class component city of the province of Laguna which houses some of the Philippines’ largest industrial estates and export processing zones which made it one of the richest cities in the Philippines. This LTO office was borne out of the agency’s desire to better serve the ever-growing population of Cabuyao and its increasing pool of motor vehicles. For this reason, the LTO Cabuyao District Office is operated to be as effective as can be in offering the agency’s core programs and services, including applications and renewal of licenses and permits, registration and renewal of motor vehicles (MV) and motorcycle registrations, and renewal with revision of records for the people of the city of Cabuyao.
