The Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Dasmariñas City in the province of Cavite is made up of a set of two LTO offices: the LTO Dasmariñas District Office (DO) and the LTO Dasmariñas Driver’s License Renewal Office (DLRO). These LTO offices were opened to serve the city and all the people within its geographical area of responsibility (GAOR), through the extension of the agency’s operations. The creation of these LTO offices allowed the agency to offer more accessible and convenient LTO services to the people. The LTO Dasmariñas Offices are also operated well in the hopes of making the LTO more effective in their regulation so the public can be rest assured of their safety on the road.
As the “University Capital of Cavite” classified as one of the largest and most competitive cities in the country with over 750,000 residents, Dasmariñas deserves the LTO offices within its territory. Not only does it house a huge population, but with the sheer number of students and other people in the area, the agency is hard-pressed to keep the roads safe through more effective driver education, licensing, registration, and regulation, without the inconvenience of spending so much time, effort, and money on the end of the local motorists, drivers, and car owners who try to avail of and keep up with the LTO rules and regulatory policies.

Where is Dasmariñas City
Dasmariñas, colloquially shortened to Dasma, and officially known as the City of Dasmariñas, is a first class landlocked component city in the province of Cavite. Dubbed as the “university city” and with the goal of becoming the “ideal city of Cavite,” Dasmariñas, right now, is the largest city both in terms of area and population in Cavite and the wealthiest Local Government Unit (LGU) in terms of city in the province.
Geographically, Dasmariñas City has a total land area of about 8,234 hectares (20,350 acres). It sits 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) from Imus and 30 kilometers (19 mi) south of Manila, and was created as a result of the growing congestion and outward urban expansion of the Manila Metropolitan area. The city itself is bounded by Imus and Bacoor to the north, Silang to the south, Muntinlupa City and Las Piñas City in southern Metro Manila to the north east, General Mariano Alvarez (GMA) and the City of San Pedro in Laguna to the east, and General Trias to the west. It is served by corridors traversing the central areas of the city and providing linkages to the Metropolitan Manila core area and the developing nodes of Laguna and Batangas.
