The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Iligan City refers to the only LTO office in Valencia City in Bukidnon: the LTO Valencia District Office (DO). Like the other LTO district offices, the LTO Valencia branch office was also opened to offer fast, convenient, and affordable LTO services to the people of Valencia City. It is meant to help the agency monitor and regulate the local and visiting drivers, car owners, and operators, as well as the vehicle use and the entire land transport service in the city and within its geographical area of responsibility (GAOR). Plus, it’s a way to help the LTO make its presence felt and enforce its rules and regulations over the local land transport sector in the area to ensure the safety of the Iliganons—both drivers and pedestrians—on the road.  

Iligan City is a melting pot of interfaith and intercultural communities. It is best known as the City of Majestic Waterfalls, thanks to the large number of waterfalls housed by the steep volcanic hills and mountains in the east side of the city. One of its most famous waterfalls, Maria Cristina Falls, helps produce hydroelectric power for the whole Mindanao region. Where is Iligan City

Iligan, officially known as the City of Iligan, is a first class coastal highly urbanized city (HUC) physically grouped with the province of Lanao del Norte in Northern Mindanao. It was geographically part of Central Mindanao (Region 12) until the province was moved under Northern Mindanao (Region 10) in 2001. It is bounded by bounded on the north by three municipalities of Misamis Oriental (namely Lugait, Manticao and Opol), to the south by three municipalities of Lanao del Norte (Baloi, Linamon and Tagoloan) and two municipalities of Lanao del Sur (Kapai and Tagoloan II), to the north-east by the city of Cagayan de Oro, to the east by the municipality of Talakag, Bukidnon; and to the west by Iligan Bay. It sits approximately 90 kilometers away from the capital of the province, Tubod, and approximately 800 kilometers from the capital of the Philippines, Manila.
