LTO Pasig City Office Locations and Contact Information

The Land Transportation Office in Pasig City serves the city via a district office (DO) and a Driver’s License Renewal Office (DLRO). These two offices were there for a simple purpose: to bring the LTO services closer to the public and to keep the roads so much safer for the over 800,000 residents of the 30 barangays of the industrial-turned-residential-commercial city of Pasig.

As a city that was once known as an industrial center, Pasig has since evolved into a thriving “green city” with residential-commercial communities and an eclectic mix of business centers, prominent schools, renowned restaurants, and lifestyle developments like walkable streets and nature parks. Because of its allure and proximity to many business centers, it’s not surprising that the city attracts not only young families, professionals, local and multinational companies, and business owners, but also government offices like the LTO.

Indeed, the city of Pasig lives by its reputation as a complete city with convenient options manned by a driven community that makes it a good place to build connections in.

What is LTO Pasig?

LTO Pasig refers to the LTO offices within the premises of the “green city” of Pasig. These offices not only bring the LTO and their services closer to the people, but also increase the efficacy and effectiveness of each and every LTO road safety campaigns via the stricter implementation of its rules and regulations. Through the LTO Pasig offices, LTO showcases their improved public service as well as the agency’s commitment to the safety and well-being of the motorists, drivers, and pedestrians of Pasig City.

The LTO does all these with the support of the following offices they have launched in Pasig City for the same purpose:

Pasig District Office

The LTO has enabled the creation of the LTO Pasig District Office manned by 12 regular employees and 16 job order (temps). The branch also houses a 7-man enforcement team. Together, they offer competent assistance and services to the public, carrying out efficient services, answering any inquiries (via their Malasakit Help Desk), or offering road safety seminars in the different barangays.

The LTO Pasig District Office is also equipped with airditioning units and a breastfeeding area for the comfort of the transacting public. Unfortunately, there’s no medical clinic providing medical certificates for license and SP applicants inside this LTO compound, though there are numerous LTO-accredited medical clinics nearby. The LTO branch also doesn’t have an emission testing center in the vicinity, so, applicants for motor vehicle (MV) registration renewal needs to be prepared with their Motor Vehicle Inspection Report (MVIR) before visiting this LTO office.

LTO DLRO Tiendesitas

The LTO Driver’s License Renewal Center (DLRC) in Tiendesitas was created to bring the LTO services closer to the people. It was also meant to provide more convenient alternatives in Driver’s License renewal and Student Permit application, just like all the other DLROs nationwide. For more convenience, the LTO DLRO Tiendesitas has also started implementing the mandatory use of the Land Transportation System (LTMS) starting on May 5, 2021. Having said that, all LTO DLRO Tiendesitas clients are encouraged to register an LTMS account before transacting at this LTO branch.

Where is Pasig?

Pasig, officially known as the City of Pasig, is a first-class highly urbanized city in the National Capital Region (NCR). It houses a population of 803,159 people who are scattered between the city’s 30 barangays. It shares its name with the Pasig River, the river that serves as its natural boundary on the southwestern and southeastern borders.

A formerly rural settlement, this city located along the eastern border of Metro Manila with Rizal province, has since evolved, first into an industrial center, and later into a thriving “green city” which is primarily residential-commercial in nature. It used to be the seat of government of the Rizal Province, too, before the formation of Metro Manila forced Pasig out of Rizal’s jurisdiction in 2009. It wasn’t until 2020 that Pasig City’s status as de jure official capital of Rizal was dropped.

In terms of geography, Pasig City is bordered on the west by the cities of Quezon and Mandaluyong. To its north, Pasig city is bounded by Marikina City. It is also bounded on the south by Makati City, and the municipality of Pateros, and Taguig; and on the east by the municipalities of Cainta and Taytay of the province of Rizal. Pasig City is also cut through by the Pasig River which forms its southwestern and southeastern borders with Makati and Taguig. On the west side, the Marikina River forms its western border with Quezon City. The artificial Manggahan Floodway, which was built in 1986, begins at its confluence with the Marikina River in its northeast.

LTO Parañaque Office Locations and Contact Information

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Parañaque City consists of a District Office (DO) and a Licensing Center. These LTO offices were created to offer the agency’s service to over 680,000 Parañaqueños residing in the 16 barangays in the entire Parañaque City.

From being a site of small vegetable farms, Parañaque has since evolved into an urbanized suburb of Manila. While still serving as the home to intricate hand embroidery products, Parañaque now houses the Manila International Airport, the Manila Bay Beach Resort, an affluent residential district (BF Homes), an Entertainment City area that houses flourishing casinos developed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), a bargain hunter’s’ paradise (Baclaran), and a historic district (Kabihasnan area). These developments are partly the reason for the notorious traffic jams in the area, worsened by the dozens of gated communities feeding into them.

It is for this reason that LTO’s shops are opened in the city: to ensure that the people who come and go in and around the city would remain safe on the roads. After all, it is the LTO’s job to ensure that the roads stay safe, the drivers are skilled and knowledgeable, and the vehicles are roadworthy. To learn more about the LTO offices that are in-charge of the city roads of Parañaque, you can keep reading this guide.

Where is Parañaque

Parañaque City is an urbanized city located on the southeastern shore of Manila Bay. Its site was originally occupied by small vegetable farms until the expanding urbanization transformed it into a southern suburb of Manila.

The city lies on the southwest part of Metro Manila, bounded by Pasay on the north side. With Manila Bay bordering the west side, Parañaque City is bordered by Las Piñas and Muntinlupa on the south and Taguig to the east. It is largely an urbanized residential community just south of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). It is full of large affluent subdivisions, and it also houses an Entertainment City area where large casino complexes developed by the national gambling corporation and regulator, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) on the reclaimed spaces on Manila Bay.

Parañaque City is also home to Baclaran, a once peaceful fishing village that has since become a bargain hunters’ paradise. The streets are filled with peddlers, beggars, street performers, and vagrants, sharing space with slow-moving cars and crowds of shoppers, residents and students. At night, the city also comes alive with a laid-back nightlife scene and some backpacker accommodations in the background. The city also has a historic district known as the Kabihasnan area, a space that is largely a congested residential area, with scattered slum areas.

The city of Parañaque also has some visible foreign populations, mostly Chinese migrants, Westerners who married locally, and Chinese gambling operators and land developers. Most of them are concentrated near the Entertainment City area and in nearby gated communities.

What is LTO Manila?

LTO Manila refers to one or all of the LTO offices located in Manila City. Because of the sheer number of people in the city, the LTO has elected to open multiple offices within the premises. These offices include four (4) District Offices (DO), three (3) Driver’s License Renewal Office (DLROs), a Licensing Center, and a Licensing Renewal Section.

These offices offer all types of LTO services, from the registration of motor vehicles to the issuance of licenses and permits, sale of number plates, and collection of fines and penalties for motor vehicle-related infractions. They are also placed in strategic locations such that they are found in the most accessible parts of the city. This is so that the transacting public may enjoy fast and convenient land transport sector service.

DLRO – Lucky Chinatown Mall

As with all the other government offices in the country, the LTO opened a Driver’s License Renewal Office (DLRO) in the 3rd floor of Lucky Chinatown Mall so people can enjoy a more convenient transaction when renewing their driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations.

DLRO – Robinsons Place Manila

With the convenience of the transacting public in mind, the LTO opened yet another Driver’s License Renewal Office (DLRO) on the 3rd level of Robinsons Place Manila. In this video, LTO law enforcers along with staff from LTO Manila District Office and LTO Manila Licensing Center visits Manila West Central School for some lessons on road safety:

Where is Manila

Manila, officially known as the City of Manila, is the capital of the Philippines and the second-most populous city in the country. It is a highly urbanized city located on the eastern shore of Manila Bay. It was the first chartered city in the country, and was designated as such by the Philippine Commission Act 183 of July 31, 1901, making it a part of the world’s original set of global cities because its commercial networks were the first to extend across the Pacific Ocean and connect Asia with the Spanish-Americas through the galleon trade, the first uninterrupted chain of trade routes ever established. Manila is also among the most-populous and fastest-growing cities in Southeast Asia.

As the capital city, Manila also serves as the country’s center of economic, political, social, and cultural activity. It is located on the island of Luzon and spreads along the eastern shore of Manila Bay at the mouth of the Pasig River. Manila, along with its contiguous cities and municipalities were later integrated as a single administrative region, known as Metropolitan Manila (or the National Capital Region) with the Manila City proper encompassing only a small portion.

Manila has been through rapid economic development since its destruction in the World War II. Now, it has developed enough to offer outstanding sightseeing for the creative souls, housing edgy galleries and lively indie music scene. Combined with speakeasy bars, artisan markets, and single-origin coffees, it’s easy to see that Manila is not only one of Asia’s most underrated cities, but one of its coolest. Unfortunately, Manila’s road snarls with traffic everyday, hence the need for multiple LTO offices to ensure the safety on the roads.

In terms of geography, Manila City, a true Asian megacity, is located in the western part of Metro Manila. It is bordered on the west by the Manila Bay and to the north by Navotas, Quezon City, and Caloocan City. On the east side, the city is bounded by San Juan and Mandaluyong City and to the south, it is bordered by Pasay and Makati.
