LTO Biñan Laguna Office Location and Contact Information

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Biñan City, also known as Biniang, in Laguna is almost a necessity in the area. As a suburban component city well-known for being home to the Philippines’ largest industrial estates and export processing zones, Biñan City in Laguna houses the third largest population in the province of Laguna, making it a must to keep the roads safe—which happens to be the main mandate of the LTO.

With over 400,000 people relying on LTO to ensure their safety while on public roads, the LTO has been very proactive in bringing itself closer to the masses, setting up one official after another in various locations in the country. In Biñan City, in particular, there’s a District Office (DO), an Extension Office, a Licensing Center, and Driver’s License Renewal Offices (DLROs) within the city premises. In this article, we looked into each LTO Biñan City Office location, services, and contact information and listed them for you.

What is LTO Biñan

LTO Biñan refers to the collection of LTO offices in Biñan City. There’s a total of four (4) offices including the District Office (DO), an Extension Office, a Licensing Center, and a Driver’s License Renewal Office (DLRO). These offices are in charge of all LTO-related services offered in the city, including keeping the road safe by ensuring only skilled drivers get their licenses and only roadworthy vehicles are allowed on the public roads of the city.

To carry out the agency’s mandate, the following LTO branches are opened in Biñan City.

Cabuyao Licensing Center

LTO Calamba, is yet another option for all driver’s license holders who live in Cabuyao, Calamba, and Los Banos. Not only is it the nearest LTO branch that you may try to go to, but, to give them the chance to avoid long queues at the Cabuyao District office when they try to renew your licenses.

Cabuyao District Office

The LTO Cabuyao District Office, which is more popularly known as the LTO Biñan District Office, is the main LTO office in the area. As an LTO district office, it is directly responsible for implementing the LTO mandates. So, if you live nearby or if you are from the neighboring Sta. Rosa or Biñan, then this is the best place for you to renew your driver’s license. Be ready for long queues, though.

Pagsanjan Extension Office

Motor vehicle (MV) owners in the Pagsanjan area in Laguna who had always had to go to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) district office in Calamba to renew their certificates of registration now have a nearer option in Pagsanjan. As an extension of the LTO Biñan office meant to bring LTO closer to the people, the Pagsanjan extension office is opened at the Areza Town Center in Pagsanjan. With this new extension office, motorists no longer need to go all the way to the LTO Calamba District Office for vehicle inspection, registration or renewal of registration, making the public service better, safer, more efficient, more comfortable and more economical for the people.

Southwoods DLRO

As with other LTO Driver’s License Renewal Offices (DLROs) in the country, the Southwoods DLRO was opened for the convenience of the transacting public in Biñan, Laguna. It offers not only license renewal services, but also other requirements such as theoretical driving courses and medical exams and permit and licenses issuance. Plus, since it is located at the mall, the Southwoods DLRO conveniently offers shopping and dining options to make things a lot easier for their customers.

The LTO Southwoods DLRO is open Monday to Friday from 8:41AM to 4:41PM for anyone who needs to get student permits or renew their driver’s licenses. It is located on the 3rd Floor, by the Food Hall of the Southwoods Mall.

It als houses some of the Philippines’ largest industrial estates and export processing zones, making it the richest municipality in the Philippines.

Where is Quezon City

Quezon City, also known as the City of Quezon and Q.C., is the most populous city in the Philippines. In 2020, it was already housing a population of 2,960,048 people.

Originally intended to be the national capital of the Philippines and a replacement for the overcrowded Manila City, several barrios were carved out from the neighboring cities of Caloocan, Marikina, San Juan, and Pasig and attached to eight (8) vast estates to form the city. It was officially proclaimed as the national capital on October 12, 1949, prompting several government departments and institutions to move out of Manila and settle into the new capital city. The move necessitated the expansion of the city northwards, carving out Novaliches from Caloocan and taking several barrios from San Mateo and Montalban. However, on June 24, 1976, a law reverted the national capital status to Manila while the whole of Metro Manila was designated as the seat of government. Quezon City, on the other hand, was chosen as the regional center of Southern Tagalog, though it proved to be ineffective after Region 4 was divided into two.

Quezon City is a planned city well-known for its culture, entertainment industry and media, and is aptly called the “City of Stars”. It houses major broadcasting networks and is also known for its commerce, education, research, technology, politics, tourism, art and sports. It also serves as the home of numerous national government branches including the Batasang Pambansa Complex, the seat of House of Representatives of the Philippines, and even the Land Transportation Office (LTO).
