Where is Dapa
Dapa, officially known as the Municipality of Dapa, is a fourth class municipality in the province of Surigao del Norte. It lies south of Siargao Island, 36 nautical miles east of Surigao City and a few nautical miles from the famous Philippine Deep. It is located closest to Surigao City, Surigao del Norte, Tandag, Surigao del Sur, Cabadbaran, Agusan del Norte, Butuan and Bayugan, Agusan del Sur, and Maasin, Southern Leyte. Most of Dapa is situated in Siargao Island, but Middle Bucas Grande and East Bucas Grande Islands are also within its jurisdiction. It is bounded by General Luna in the east, by Pilar and Del Carmen in the north, by Dapa Channel in the west, by Socorro and the Philippine Sea in the south.
