Tandag, officially known as the City of Tandag, is a fifth class coastal component city and the capital of the province of Surigao del Sur. It is located along the northeastern coast of Mindanao facing the Philippine Sea, with a total land area of 291.73 square kilometers (112.64 sq. mi).
