The Land Transportation Office (LTO) National Capital Region (NCR) West is the land transport office in charge of the West Zone of the National Capital Region (NCR). It is composed of what was left of LTO NCR, after the LTO NCR West was delineated by virtue of Department Order No. 2018 – 021.
LTO NCR West, just like the LTO NCR East, is managed by the LTO. It was created to oversee the operations of LTO in the West Zone. What is LTO NCR West?
The Land Transportation Office – National Capital Region West (LTO NCR-West) is a subdivision of the LTO, a government agency of the Philippines under the Department of Transportation (DOTr). Like its mother unit, the LTO NCR West is responsible for the land transportation sector, particularly in the West Zone of Metro Manila. It came to life in September 2018, along with LTO NCR East, by virtue of the Department Order No. 2018-021, otherwise known as the Delineation of Functions in the Land Transportation Office in the National Capital Region.
The LTO NCR West region was borne from the original LTO unit. To date, it still stays at the same address as LTO NCR, on the 5th Floor of LTO-NCR West Building located at #20 G. Araneta Ave., Quezon City.
As a subregion of LTO NCR, LTO NCR West covers the LTO responsibilities towards the West Zone of Metro Manila which encompasses eleven (11) cities, including Manila, Makati, Caloocan, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Valenzuela, Navotas, Malabon, and most parts of Quezon City. The LTO offices in the said areas work the same way as the others, offering the same excellent and quality public service and committing to the same promise to offer better and safer land transport service.
History of LTO NCR West
It started as a remainder of the regional office, after LTO NCR East broke off and took temporary refuge at the MID Library of the LTO Central Office. LTO NCR West, on the other hand, remained at the LTO Main Office Bldg. in West Ave., Quezon City taking up space on the 5th floor as its permanent home.

Where is NCR West
The National Capital Region (NCR) also refers to Metropolitan Manila or Metro Manila, the capital region of the Philippines. It is the seat of most national government offices and the center for international diplomacy, culture (including arts and entertainment), economy, and education and is located in the southwestern portion of Luzon. It houses the LTO Central Office in one of the sixteen (16) cities and one municipality.
