The Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Malabon City is tasked with the same agency mandate: To keep the roads safe and secure for drivers and pedestrians by allowing only roadworthy drivers and vehicles on public roads. The branch offices are created to bring the LTO services closer to the transacting public. To date, there are two LTO Malabon offices in existence: LTO Malabon District Office (DO) and the LTO Driver’s License Renewal Office (DLRO) Fisher Mall Malabon.
As one of the most densely populated cities in Metro Manila, Malabon has a thriving economy, housing establishments that include a sugar refinery and patis- (fish sauce), cigar, and candle manufacturers as well as fishing and ilang-ilang flower-extract production for export-quality perfumes. The city also houses several government office branches, including two (2) of LTO’s.

Video: Visiting LTO Malabon for a Motorcycle Registration Renewal
Just like how it is in other LTO offices, the LTO Malabon Offices were meant to bring the LTO services closer, more accessible, faster, and more convenient for the people who need them. This is especially so when they need to comply with the rules and regulations that the LTO put in place themselves, like the need to secure a driver’s license or a student permit and to get their MV or MC registered first before getting on the roads.

Where is Malabon City
Malabon, officially known as the City of Malabon is a first class, highly urbanized city (HUC) in the National Capital Region that houses a population of 380,522 people. It has a flat, low-lying terrain with a total land area of 15.96 square kilometers, and is one of the most densely populated cities in the country.
In terms of geography, the City of Malabon makes up a part of the sub-region of Metro Manila, informally known as the CAMANAVA region. It is located north of the capital city, Manila, and is primarily a residential and industrial area. It is also a well known site for river fishing, which happens to be the major livelihood in the area in olden times. Through the years, the river of Malabon has become narrower and shallower causing its capacity to hold water to decrease, resulting in frequent flooding during intense rain.
Malabon is also a landlocked city and is bordered by several cities, including Caloocan to the south and east, Navotas to the west, and Valenzuela to the north. Malabon also borders the town of Obando in the province of Bulacan to the northwest.
Google Map Location
Because Malabon City is landlocked and is in close proximity to some of the major cities north of Metro Manila, it is easily accessible either by private cars or by public transport. There are numerous buses, vans, and jeepneys with different travel routes, making it more convenient to move around the city.
