LTO Marikina Office Location and Contact Information

It also houses the infamous shoe collection of former First Lady Imelda Marcos, along with over 450,000 residents, making it a good place as for LTO to work.

If you are a vehicle owner or a driver from Marikina City, then you can learn more about the LTO Marikina City Offices, including their operating hours, services offered, and complete contact information by reading this guide.

lto marikina office location and contact number

What is LTO Marikina?

LTO Marikina refers to either one or both of the two (2) LTO branches located in the City of Marikina. These offices were meant to bring the LTO services—ranging from inspection and registration of motor vehicles to the issuance of license and permits, and the enforcement of land transportation rules and regulations—closer to the people of the City of Marikina in a bid to carry out their main job as a government agency in the Philippines.

LTO Marikina District Office

Much like any LTO District Office, the LTO Marikina District Office is an extension of the agency. It is the primary operating arm of the agency in the local area of the city of Marikina and is tasked with offering the agency’s core programs and services, in such a way that they may engage the locals, carry out their mandate in the surrounding communities, and much more.

Located right at the city center, in JP Rizal, Brgy. Sto. Niño, the LTO Marikina District Office is in close proximity to the city hall and some of the major establishments in the area, along with the universities that are located in the same city. Needless to say, the LTO Marikina District Office is in a great spot, right at the heart of the city, in close proximity to the people they want to serve.

LTO DLRO Robinsons Metro East

Established in 2007, the Driver’s License Renewal Office (DLRO) Robinsons Metro East was created as part of the Service Improvement Program of the Land Transportation Office. It’s main purpose is to bring the LTO’s brand of public service closer to the people in an attempt to provide them with more convenient alternatives in renewing their driver’s license. Located on the Basement level of Robinsons Metro East, this LTO office offers Student Permit and Driver’s License Renewal with Revision of Records-Change Address.

Services Provided by LTO Marikina Office

If you are a motorist who lives nearby or frequents the City of Marikina regardless if it’s for the food or the shoes, then you can enjoy some of LTO’s services straight from there. Plus, since the offices are in prime locations, you can also enjoy the goodies that the city has to offer right after you process your driver’s license renewal or student permit applications at either one of the LTO Marikina offices.

Though the LTO is expected to offer a host of services to the public, some LTO offices, like the ones in Marikina, have limited capabilities so the services they offer are limited to the following:

Video: Visiting LTO Marikina  for a Motorcycle Registration Renewal

Just like how it is in other LTO offices, the LTO Marikina Offices were meant to bring the LTO services closer, more accessible, faster, and more convenient for the people who need them. This is especially so when they need to comply with the rules and regulations that the LTO put in place themselves, like the need to secure a driver’s license or a student permit and to get their MV or MC registered first before getting on the roads.

To learn more about how things are done at LTO Marikina, then join Lakay Dante TV Motovlog through this video as he processes an LTO registration renewal for his motorcycle.

It is well known as the “Shoe Capital of the Philippines” famed not only for making the best and most sturdy shoes, but also for housing the infamous shoe collection of former First Lady Imelda Marcos, wife of the late Filipino president and dictator, Ferdinand E. Marcos. Along with the infamous shoe collection, the city also houses residential and commercial establishments, popular food joints, some shopping malls, the Our Lady of the Abandoned Church (which happens to be the oldest church in the Marikina Valley), and a population of over 450,00/ people.

Marikina City started out as a rural settlement, before it became the designated provincial capital of the then-province of Manila. In recent years, Marikina has seen tremendous commercial and industrial growth, resulting in it being one of the cities with the wealthiest local government units in the country.

In terms of geography, Marikina City is located along the eastern border of Metro Manila, serving as the main gateway of Metro Manila to Rizal and Quezon provinces through the Marikina–Infanta Highway. It is bordered by different HUCs: Quezon City in the west, Pasig and Cainta In the south, San Mateo in the north, and Antipolo, the capital of Rizal province, in the east.

A district office and a licensing extension office in the city of Valenzuela as part of the LTO’s efforts to keep up with its mandate to keep the roads safe by making their services and regulatory programs closer to the transacting public.

The LTO’s desire to serve as many of the transacting public as possible may not be exclusive to the city of Valenzuela, but the fact remains that it is, indeed, one of the goals for setting up as many LTO branches as possible.
